The health, safety, and well-being of our patients, staff, and community are our number one priority as we follow the recommended guidelines during the concern of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
At this time, we feel confident in operating within our normal business hours and have no plans to cancel any scheduled appointments, procedures, or surgeries.
We are staying current with government recommendations and will adjust our day to day as needed. We appreciate your patience and participation in limiting exposure and would like to take a moment to let you know what we are doing to make your experience with us as safe as possible. Below is what you can expect when you visit our clinic.
Here are a few things you need to know for your Curbside Concierge Service:
• Please provide a phone number where you can be contacted should our staff or Veterinarian need to reach you to discuss your pet.
• KEEP YOUR PHONE CLOSE TO YOU!!! This is imperative especially during an emergency.
• PLEASE PUT ON YOUR MASK when your vehicle is being approached by our team member(s).
• Once we have completed the “check-in” process, one of our Veterinary Technicians will meet you at your vehicle to escort your pet into the clinic. At this time, you can remain in the comfort of your vehicle.
• Once the physical exam is complete, we will contact you regarding treatment, concerns, etc.
• Depending on the nature of your visit, you may be provided with a Treatment Plan Estimate.
• Once treatment is completed or authorized, our receptionist will meet you at your vehicle to process payment.
• If this was an outpatient visit, our staff will return your pet to your vehicle along with any special food or medication (if applicable).
• Please be aware that if your pet is hospitalized, you will not be allowed visitation due to our COVID-19 Protocol. You are more than welcome to call for updates.
Low Contact Rx Refills:
• Please call the clinic in advance at (305) 251-2096 to request prescription refills and prepay over the phone or shop 24/ on our online pharmacy.
Low Contact Clinic Stays:
• If your pet is staying with us for the day as a drop off or surgery, we are asking that no personal items be left with the pet. This includes blankets, collars, and leashes.
• Please be aware that if your pet is hospitalized, you will not be allowed visitation due to our COVID-19 Protocol. You are more than welcome to call for updates.
Our Clinic Precautions Include:
• Regularly disinfecting our clinics with disinfectant approved for use in veterinary settings.
• Signage throughout the clinics encouraging good personal hygiene.
• Team members are washing their hands before and after each appointment.
• Team members are encouraged to stay home when they do not feel well or are showing symptoms and to avoid non-essential travel.
• We are asking clients to stay home or seek medical assistance if they are not feeling well.
• Staying up to date on government updates from Centers for Disease Control and the Florida Department of Health.
